This week in wine country, sponsored by Finger Lakes Wine Country, Renata Stiehl and Laury Ward have a conversation with Kamala Keeley, President of Three Rivers Development Corporation.

Three Rivers Development works to support economic development in the region and promote the area and help attract talent and careers, as well as improve quality of life for the people in our communities. Additionally, they serve as a supporter of the area’s tourism, helping to attract visitors and give local residents a sense of pride in where they live.

Three Rivers Development recently launched the website Southern Finger Lakes (SoFLX), promoting the region’s quality of life, including its picturesque communities, beautiful natural scenery, arts and culture, and lifestyle.

I-86 Exit 43 Economic Development Action Plan Committee.

The Town of Erwin is hoping to change the “suburban blight” and lack of business development activity surrounding the area off I-86 Exit 43. In order to make those changes, an “Exit 43 Committee” was formed and charged by the town board to develop a plan.
